I have such a love/hate relationship with snow. Mostly hate though. I love how it looks out of the window, on photographs and the way it feels/sounds/smells (yes, it totally fucking smells, ask Lorelei Gilmore) when you stand outside in it. 

But I hate with the passion when you have to be somewhere and it snows. God! I can’t walk in it for shit. I only survived last winter because I borrowed (I say borrowed, they’re still in my possession tbh) some snowboard boots from work. 

Everything shuts down. No public transport. Everybody has a bloody snow day, except the chumps like me who work at a ski slope. Oh and the hill to get to it is almost as steep as the slope itself, and ugh, I’m only moaning about this because the temperatures have seriously dropped and it’s forecast snow this weekend. It takes an hour to walk from my house to work, especially in those board boots…I already hate this weekend, and it’s only Thursday. Fuck.
